Customer Positions online for more than 10 YearsLegal rules determine that data in TEMOS needs to be stored for 10 years. Changing IT environments are a crux for this requirement even though good backup and recovery concepts are in place. To solve this problem, TEMOS archives data directly within the application. To ensure this archiving procedure all information gets stored on a monthly basis. As the archive belongs to the productive environment, data is being secured regularly. In case of needed data out of the archive, data gets reloaded into the application and could than be analysed online or with any other tool (e.g. reports). TEMOS splits the Data in time based partitions. Consequently 12 months are always directly accessible in the application.
